The goals of the lesson
Main goal:
Shaping knowledge about the life of Niepołomice inhabitants in the interwar period.
Detailed goal:
The student is able to:
- analyze written and unwritten sources displayed at the exhibition and draw conclusions,
- use multimedia to obtain answers to fill a task card,
- prepare a 5-minute intervention about the life of the inhabitants of Niepołomice in th past,
- collaborate in a group,
- follow the rules governing the museum.
Course of lesson
Introduction
- Introduction to the subject by a Museum employee - information about the exhibition "Niepołomice, city, time, people", its goals and resources.
- Division of the class into groups, presenation of the goals of the museum lesson and the scope of the task.
Main part
- Students receive instructions.
- They divide tasks among themselves - then research the resources of the exhibition.
- Group work: students have approx. 15 minutes to complete the task card and prepare answers to open questions. Each group prepares an appropriate form of oral expression on a given topic.
- After completing the tasks, the groups present the results of their work - answers to questions from the task card and present answers to open questions. A representative of the group talks about how the work went.
Summary
- Students together answer the question: What was the life of the inhabitants of Niepołomice like in the interwar period?
- Summary of group work by the teacher, discussion of the pros and cons - group evaluation.
